Digital Awareness
Educate your employee’s, create awareness, begin to change attitudes and behaviors
As part of your digital transformation project you will need to get your employees on-board. There will be resistance from many employees, resistance to change is quite normal.
There are a number of steps to help structure this process:
- Create awareness –
Let your employees know what is happening, what will be involved, the benefits and how the project will unfold. This will help drive a transparent project that all of your employees can be involved in.
2. Change Attitudes and behaviors
You will find a mix of attitudes from your employees. Educate them on the benefits of Digital transformation and help them understand why the project is taking place.
Digital transformation has many benefits to employees such as automated work processes reducing the amount of time needed to complete simple work tasks such as getting sign off on an invoice before you can store it away, storing and searching for documents becomes a one click process and not a hunt through paper files, all of this helps improve productivity by reducing the time it takes for employees to complete tasks.

Change champions will also provide employees that do not like to offer any opinions or suggestions in a group someone to talk to should they have any questions or concerns.
In summary:
It has become evident that processes, people and place are vitally important to affecting any level of sustainable digital transformation, and, as all three
components are closely interlinked, they must be approached in equal measure.
Our public and private sector study has highlighted that innovations clearly more than technology alone and is instead being directed by a comprehensive collection of
qualities driven by people’s needs, ambitions, habits and behaviors. Innovation is manifesting as being principally about people, how they work, where they
work and how they choose to carry out that work.
